Uniform:

Every nation’s army has a uniform their soldiers wear. Is the LORD’s army any different? In heaven we see that the saints are clothed in white. Revelation 5:6 says: “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment….” Is there a clothing believers wear here on earth that helps them to be overcomers on earth? I would answer in the affirmative. Scripture addresses this question in various places in the Bible. We are to be clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Acts 17:28 says this: For in him we live, and move, and have our being….” Jesus in his prayer in John 17: 22 expresses it another way: “And the glory which thou gavest me I have also given them; that they may be one , even as we are one.” The Apostle Paul further addresses this invisible garment another way in Ephesians 6: 13 “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand….” Then he goes on in the following verses to describe this outer wear in terms of protective fighting gear. Certainly this clothing a believer is to put on each day is spiritual and supernatural in this life. Be one thing is for sure: Though unbelievers may not see it, their demons do, and it marks us as being under the LORD’s protection. Never fail, Soldier of God, to dress properly each day in the righteousness of Jesus Christ for until the Second Coming of Jesus Christ we are in a battle down here and things will go better for those who look and act like soldiers not civilians. Spiritual warfare is real. What we wear in a combat zone is critical for protection against the enemy’s attacks. We see that some believers seem more successful in this life than others? Why is this the case? I would suggest that our supernatural outerwear is one of the reasons. Do you take the instructions of the Bible seriously? It is important that you do so. Dress wisely.

UNITY:

In the world achieving unity is very important for success. In warfare unity of command is critical to victory. Be it local, national or international this is a vital concept. Yet Jesus told us in Luke 12:51-53 that division not peace was his purpose at his first coming:

“Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you Nay; but rather division: For from hence forth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two and two against three. The father shall be divided against  the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.”

He spoke to the masses in parables. Later in private he would explain to his disciples the deeper meaning behind his stories and words. Everything he said had a deeper spiritual meaning the world could not comprehend. Scripture tells us that God’s wisdom is higher than man’s wisdom. Jesus didn’t pray for the world, but only for those the Father had given him. He said the world would hate us. Jesus gave his followers some very hard truths. They all came from the Father. One accepts his gospel in faith. Only then are one’s eyes and ears open to understand his sayings. Only then does genuine peace flood one’s soul. We must first come to him in faith.  There is much divisiveness and division in families and communities across America. We are in a time of growing division. It isn’t good for the nation. Jesus followed this bold statement by talking about the critical importance of discernment (a spiritual gift). He ended up warning about the importance of knowing the time of one’s visitation. There isn’t time in this life to figure things out intellectually. Hell is very real! We must make a decision for Christ in faith while we can. Time is running out. The clock is ticking. Then comes judgment! The world elite are trying desperately to bring unity to the world. The American military is being used to try and bring democracy to a Muslim world that believes in dictatorship. The stated goal of world leaders is peace and safety through global unity. But Jesus told us clearly he didn’t come to save the world. Is it any wonder world leaders are hostile to the gospel of Christ? Jesus tells us to decide for or against him. After the rapture of the church the world will turn to one man to save them (the antichrist). He will force all to take a mark in their hand or forehead. Those who won’t will not be able to buy or sell. Those who refuse will be hunted down and killed. The Book of Revelation tells us much about the future. About things like the Mark of the Beast (the imbedded chip)! Don’t delay! If you haven’t enlisted yet in the army of Heaven, surrender today. Jesus Christ is the only one who can save us.
